About Us
It started with one car, one bucket, and a promise I refused to break.
I'm Nathan Acito, founder of Tailored Detail WëRKS.
There was no shop. No sign. No staff. There was a car I loaded to the roof with equipment, a list of addresses across South Jersey, and a standard I'd set for myself that I wasn't willing to lower no matter how small the job was or how little I was making on it. I'd pull into a driveway, work until the light went, and drive home already thinking about how to do it better the next day.
That standard is the entire reason you're reading this page.
From a driveway, to a garage, to a studio.
Mobile work taught me more than any classroom could have. It taught me how paint behaves in the sun, in the cold, in a garage with bad lighting and a customer watching over my shoulder. It taught me how to talk to people honestly about what their vehicle actually needed — and what it didn't.
As demand grew for paint correction and ceramic coating, the driveway stopped being enough. Those services demand control: temperature, lighting, dust, time. So I moved into my parents' garage. One bay. Then their whole garage. My family gave up their space, their evenings, and a fair amount of their patience so that this could become something real. I've never forgotten that, and I never will.
Eventually we outgrew that, too. Today, Tailored Detail WëRKS operates out of a dedicated studio on Gaither Drive in Mount Laurel — a controlled, professional environment built specifically for the level of work we do. Paint Correction. Ceramic Coating. Paint Protection Film. Window Tint. Vinyl Wrap and color change. Mobile Maintenance for the clients who've been with us since the beginning.
The address changed. The equipment changed. The standard never did.

I'm proud that this studio has become a place where young, accredited, factory-trained installers are building serious reputations for themselves. Some of the most technically sharp hands in this industry are also some of the youngest — people who came up studying film patterns and correction technique the way earlier generations studied engines.
They train relentlessly. They're certified on the products they install. And they hold the same line I did in that first driveway: the work leaves right, or it doesn't leave.
Watching them grow into craftsmen has been one of the most rewarding parts of this whole thing.
